Ciao Fabbietto

ti volevo chiedere al volo due cose su drupal
1 cosa ho provato a installarlo su altervista ma mi da il messaggio register_globals is enabled.
Ho provato ad inserire un file phpini per disabilitare il valore, ma non funge
calcola che sullo stesso spazio gira un flog, un forum e un'installazione di wordpress.

2 cosa ho bisogno di documentazione per sviluppare con drupal una piattaforma flessibile potente e in fretta!!!

Lo so che non hai la bacchetta magica ma sei la prima persona che mi e' venuta in mente

Puoi modificarlo dal file .htaccess, usando "php_value register_globals 0": è spiegato in http://it.altervista.org/faq_tecniche.php#tag_phpmysql

Per la documentazione... su drupal.org ci sono vari documenti e tutorial, le api sono descritte in api.drupal.org; inoltre puoi chiedere consiglio su drupalitalia.org

Comunque io molte cose le ho fatte semplicemente installando moduli aggiuntivi trovati su drupal.org/project/Modules!

Ciao Fabio grazie mille per le tue informazioni che sono state molto utili.
Ti volevo chiedere un'altra cosa riguardo Drupal

Sto utilizzando una versione molto customizzata di drupal
ma lo studio che segue lo sviluppo del CMS al momento , dopo una nostra richiesta di avere un forum sul sito, sta per installare phpBB invece di usare il modulo standard del forum di drupal.

E' una decisione che ha senso secondo te?
in termini di sicurezza e performance puo' darsi, ma integrare tutti i dati tra crupal e phpBB non e' una menata pazzesca?
Secondo te ne vale la pena?

Ci sono pro e contro...

phpBB è un ottimo forum, pronto per l'uso.

Drupal invece è un ottimo CMS, ma il suo forum ha solo le funzioni di base, anche se non ho ancora provato la versione 6 e non so se è stato migliorato qualcosa. Comunque aggiungendo alcuni moduli si possono avere praticamente tutte le feature di phpBB. Si può anche migliorare l'aspetto del forum con i moduli flatforum o advanced forum, ma non sono subito pronti per l'uso e c'è un po' da lavorare per installarli...

Esiste un modulo Drupal che permette di condividere utenti e sessioni con phpBB: drupal.org/project/phpbb, però a parte la gestione degli utenti, Drupal e phpBB resterebbero separati: ognuno avrà il suo tema e non si potranno vedere blocchi e menu di drupal su phpbb. Per ora però la versione 6 di Drupal non è supportata.

Bisogna poi tenere conto che usando entrambi ci sarà da seguire gli aggiornamenti di entrambi, e questo può complicare la manutenzione.

In conclusione non saprei, IMHO userei il forum di Drupal più qualche modulo aggiuntivo, ma anche l'altra strada è percorribile.
